I visited San Francisco this President’s Day weekend to meet up with my friend Viktor who was in town for a conference, and we had some spectacular weather which was great for walking and people watching. Here is a bit of what I saw.
I brought only my 35mm prime lens, which is nice and small for carrying around but of course has the disadvantage that unless you are willing to get up in people’s faces, you are not going to get tight portraits. But in this case, the point was to put people in context, to see something of the city as well, and this was a good focal length for that.
I really like the one with the old guy. Also, the one with the trolley and the people laughing looks like a Mentos commercial 🙂
